My suggestion - run screaming and find another cheap place to live! We were excited to move in. We had seen a mice model, and told we would have a ceiling fan and pass through in the kitchen. When we moved in, it hadn't been cleaned, and it did not have the anemities we were told it would have. The kitchen counter was warped due to water damage, something our neighbor told us had been like that for four years when she moved into it. She said she complained about the problems in it so much, they moved her to another apartment (but didn't fix it!!). Then we started getting mice and cockroaches galore! We killed ten mice in the course of one week. Our furnace was so old that the contractors they brought in said they hadn't seen one that old before!! It's lack of modernity created an electric bill that was $200 a month! They will try to take you to court and evict you if you are even one day late with your rent. We tried to complain to the manager, but she was never there, and never returned our phone calls. We finally decided to leave when after all of this, they raised the rent on us and decided to charge us water, including paying for the community washer and dryer in our building. It's already coin operated, and what if others use more water than we do' We are moving as we speak, and couldn't be happier to leave!

I agree with this post, especially for the water bill, pest problem, and lack of heat/air.
