Wow.
The one bedrooms are extrememly spacious for one person. That is the most positive thing I have to say. What can I say that "Hell No" didn't say' The walls really are paper thin. I have two small people who live above me and I hear their every move. When the alarm goes off upstairs I can hear it. That is how I used to know when my alarm was about to go off. I have had issues with maintainance (sp') going in my apartment when I wasn't there to "fix" things. Needless to say whatever they were trying to fix didn't get fixed. They raise the rent and do not offer anything new. When I moved in, the carpet was stained. When I re-newed my lease, I asked and even pleaded for new carpet to no avail. The streets are ALWAYS so rough. I have one set of neighbors who are consideralbly larger and nosy. That has nothing to do with Bernie and the other cool lady in the office but when I tell you don't knock on my door, that means, don't knock on my door. I pay the rent and this is not a dorm room for people to hang out in to talk about the other neighbors. I understand the issue with the kids who play in front of the windows, but I live on the bottom floor with the crickets, water bugs, etc and the ground is in front of my window... (let me explain when I look out I see dirt and cars at eye level). The kids from the other buildings will play in front of my windows because their own parents can not tolerate the noise. What in the world makes them think I can' You can't yell at them because then they get all defensive about their children that they can not discipline. Needless to say we are located at the corner of Alarming Fire station row and Howling Ambulance Hospital Way near Roaring plane Overhead alley. Not to mention the place is getting more and more ghetto as the years go by. If one more person moves in and smokes weed then moves out without paying their rent and leaving behind the yellow notices for all the world to see, I think I will scream. But with the paper thin walls, why waste my breath' Don't try to park in front of the unit where you live. Don't come in too long after 7pm or you will be parking in no man's land. I am so ready to break my lease and get the heck out of here. It's a nightmare trying to wash your clothes if someone has to use it. I have come out to find my clothes resting on top of the dirty, dusty washing machine. Back to maintenance... I asked them to fix the caulking around my tub because it was turning black with mildew. Instead of them telling or suggesting that I use bleach, they came an caulked on top of the old caulking. Heaven forbid you have to go to the office to pay your rent, there are people who personify "WHITE TRASH" sitting in the office. The lady looks really sloppy and trashy and ALWAYS has a snack in one hand and an attitude in the other. This usually is not someone I want to hand over any amount of money to... Need I say more'
