Mountain Ridge is a decent place.
the customer service is very responsive, I lost my keys last week, called customer service, maintenence guy was at my door 20 minutes later and the keys were still warm, no exaggeration! This, mind you, was on a sunday.
When I moved in the carpet was terrible, I talked to the maintenece head, got all new carpet two days later. I have only had to have a few things repaired, but they were always taken care of the next day if not the same.
one beef with maintenece however, is the fact that the units have low flow toilets, not to be too graphic but this needs to be said, you will likely find yourself doing two cleaning jobs after each"session" , there simply is not enough water in the bowl for you to "flush and forget" I asked them to replace, they said it was regulation, to their credit I called and complained 4 times about it, and they came out 4 times to look at it, so maybe the regulation thing is true, check this before you sign.

Mountain Ridge is the nicest of a "village" of about 5 complexes, which brings me to the biggest problem with mountain ridge, the complex is split in half right and left side I live on the left, make sure you request an apt. on the right side(the side the rental office is not on) reason being is that the other 4 complexes i mentioned are behind Mountain ridge and every one that lives there that does not have transportation and wants to get to the stores on hospital drive has to walk past your door,which may not be a problem for you but there tends to be alot of obnoxious kids. this high traffic makes things like having your car window shot out by a pellet gun, and having your car stereo stolen (both happened to me) much more likely.

Also,

Neighbors pretty decent bunch
Air conditioning and heat are LOUD!
No pests! (insects rodent etc.)
Rent can only be paid in person at an adjoining complex one day a week 8am -4:30pm If you mail ahead of time you are fine if you have to take it to them, it can be inconvienient
Washer dryer each building ample size, 1.50 each



All in all not a terrible place,If you have to do Glen Burnie there is not much better in this price range.
