The apartment itself is okay, but having to deal with management is not worth it. They will treat you like children and like morons. They even put up signs on 4th of july not to use sparklers or they will give you a 30 day notice to vacate. Everything here is a 30 day notice. Take a smelly fart, 30 day notice. Breathe too loud, 30 day notice. Look at the management the wrong way, 30 day notice. I feel like I'm in ---- germany. Every day I expect the manager to stop me in the hall and ask for my papers. Living here is like walking through the security checkpoint at the airport continually for 24 hours a day, back and forth. We constantly get letters on our door about don't do this, don't do that. For the record, we have lived in many apartments and have never had problems.

Also, the maintenance staff are bumblebrains and what's worse, they are not professionals they are just yahoos who were offered a free place to live in exchange for their slave labor. Personally, I prefer to work and not have to have my employer pay for my place. This place is so dismal I think the only people that like it here are the maintenace staff.

The current manager is named for an ------- country and she is mean spirited and not so smart. This is a wicked combination, and backed by a company with the same sensibilites you have a potent mix able to do you wrong at every turn. Do yourself a favor and stay away. If you can't, tape record every phone conversation and get every damn thing in writing. They are deceitful and very skilled at trickery - it's their job and they're good at what they do.
