There is no insulation of any kind whatsoever in these apartments. In winter, we had to wrap in blankets at the dinner table, even though the heat was on all the time. These single windows and paper-thin walls just can't keep it warm even if it's just in 30s.
But most of the problem I have is with the noise. I can barely hear the TV when DW (which is probably older than I) is on. In Summer A/C sounds like a good 747, it's next to our bedroom and I have to keep it on because if I open a window, I'll hear all the traffic from 695 and Rt 2. I could hear my neighboors talking, walking, watching TV and playing games till 4 a.m. I called the police, wrote letters to manager, but nobody cares.
Management have some guts to advertise this complex as "luxury". The only thing that qualifies as luxury-level here is the rent. Apartments are very, very worn, there are stains everywhere and kitchen is plain ugly. There is some funky smell in all rooms - most likely a hidden sewage problem or mold.
I haven't had much problems with the maintenance though, except for the period when the management changed.
Mind you, this is probably the best complex in Glen Burnie, MD. gkZ41df9CgXQPfm8K2A7

I could not agree with you MORE when you are talking about the noise from the air conditioner, washing machine and from 695 & Rt 2!
