I recently ended a long relationship and took a new job in another state so I was forced to moved.
If I wasn't forced to move, I wouldn't have.
The place sells itself. The grounds are exceptionally well kept and the value for the townhome layout compared to other layouts locally really stand out. As far as amenities, w/d in every home, large decks, they are exceptionally pet friendly even with pet islands, a wonderful community center with pool and gym as well as business center, and maintenance that is second to no other place.
The office staff, currently headed by Aubrey have always gone out of their way to make sure I have had everything needed. I've changed my phone number 5 times, had minor issues that were my fault which they worked with me on, and never once have they done anything but work with me and do their best to keep me happy.
They have replaced almost every appliance in my home even recently updating the thermostat (community wide initiative) and have never done anything other then smile and host community event and even a semi regular newsletter. I'd hug Aubrey and Loretta and all of the gals over there if there weren't strict sexual harrasment laws in the state LOL.
Tony and Bernie and all of the guys who are in maintenance are efficient and will be at your home same day for many small issues and no matter how crazy you might be they will listen and try their damnedest to fix or replace until you are happy.
There are a few minor issues. The insulation is just not very good. The winters get very cold and the summers get very hot. My BG&E bill, even on the so called budget plan is nearly $300!!! They have tried everything but until they replace the windows and sliding glass doors it's always going to be an issue. It is a little noisy, but come on: it is an apartment and nothing I couldn't live with long term. I'm certain I was louder than most of my neighbors too.
There is only ONE choice of cable company. Broadstripe (formerly Millennium) is an infamous low quality service that this neighborhood is stuck with. Comcast and even FiOS is right across the street, but not here. DirecTV is a fine TV choice and they are satellite friendly. But if you're a big internet user I'd tell you to be warned.
But otherwise, it is hard to find a place with solid management, top class maintenance, large master bedrooms, pet and satellite friendly, and a community that works and lives together all in such a wonderfully convenient place.
