I visited the rental office in search for an apartment home and was shown the model. I was guaranteed that I would get all of the amenities that was shown in the model. Upon arrival, I was expected to reside in a unit where there were bugs, the interior wasn't anything like the model!!! The cabinets were old, dark brown, and rotting. The shelving inside the closets were warped on the edges and bent upward as well as unacceptable bathrooms.

I was horrified! Also, when the leasing agents (consultants) arrived into the unit, she attempted to justify the apartment saying that, "I would stay here". I was then infuriated!!! It was not until a placed a phone call to my attorney in their presence that a townhome was remodeled for me with new cabinets, clean carpet, new washer and dryer set (which was incorrectly hooked up), and actual cabinets in the bathrooms (instead of a sink supported by rusted poles). Still, the tub was not replaced or resurfaced. It was merely covered with paint that can up in pieces during our stay. I moved out yesterday and the tub still hasn't recieved any attention from the property maintenance or management even though several phone calls were made in reference to it. :-(

Also, the property has begun to place more government assisted living families into the neighborhood. I understand and respect the Fair Housing Act. However, enough is enough!!! There should be a balance and the criminal background check should actually take place before allowing someone to stay!

Please do adequate research and make every effort to reside someplace other than here before committing to a lease.

I agree totally. The model they show you is nothing like what you get. The day I was suppose to move in they called me to let me know I couldn't because they had just gone over to the house (for the FIRST time) and saw that ALL the carpetting needed to be replaced. After living here, it must have been trully dreadful for them to replace it. There are bugs all year round and I ask them to replace the stripping because that's how they are getting in. I was told 'your's isn't as bad as others.' No, they did not fix it. There are No ceiling fans except in the dining room, so lets get that FALSE ADVERTISMENT out of the way. The washer in my unit was ALSO hooked up incorrectly. It also leaked and it took several trips to get them to admit it was broken. We finally had to show them the flood to get them to fix it. Meanwhile, it damaged my preoprty and they are NOT reimbursing me. It also caused blakc mold in a four foot area of carpetting and all over the floor boards. Their cure, not to repsond for several days (I had my briothers visiting and had to keep them away from it for days), cover it with paint, and get someone to clean that oportion of carpetting only (stillseveral more days later). No one did an initial walk through but I did fill out the forms, niothing on that list has EVER been fixed. I have to argue with the handy man about fixing stuff. The tub CONSTANTLY clogs. The dishwasher sucks. Underneath the sink was warped beyong reason and the only thing they did was cover it with a board. GOD, WHEN CAN I MOVE OUT!!! The walls are so thin I can hear my neighbors alarm clock go off. The parking lots are full of turcks, semis. Weekends means loud rap music and the occasional visits from cops. The was even a BLOCK FIGHT once. I've had the police constantly coming to my house looking for some other people that are missing for court appointments. Forget this place, move on!
