This was my first home so I made a lot of allowances. When you go to look at models originally, the office staff pressures you to sign a lease right on the spot. Not knowing any better, I did. The house is small, pest riddin and noisy. Every morning I'm awakened by people yelling and carrying on outside. Ants WILL NOT leave my home even though they say they do pest services once or twice a month. I had to turn on the water to my house myself, fix the air conditioner also. Alerting matenience to a broken panel by sink had them telling me that it was "not neccessary to fix". Neighbors constantly park in our spot. Carpeting is cheap and sheds when you try to clean (kills my vaccuum). Walls seem to be whitewashed (paint comes off when you try to wash). Dried toothpaste was still on sink when we moved in. Drains are always clogged. The rent seems to be more expensive than others. The washer/dryer are stackables and you must phisically pull out the washer to get anything in it. On a more positive note, I've never had anything burgularized and the office staff, while distant, have always been nice to us. They also keep the grounds fairly well kept but it does add to noise level. We will be leaving at the end of our lease, however,I now know what to look for in a place. So it has been a learning experience.
