The one great thing I can say about living here is that the staff at the office are great. They are very friendly and try to be helpful. However, upon moving into my apartment I came across a few things that where unsatisfactory.
For example, when I moved in the carpet was not fully laid, it had been pulled half way up the living-room space. The air conditioning didn't work, the bedroom and bath had not been painted and had multiple, ill patched holes on the wall and ceilings, the refrigerator froze everything in it, the cabinets were torn to pieces and do not shut properly, the wash machine had been replaced with a larger unit which causes the door not to shut at all, the dishwasher leaks, the weather stripping around the front door needed replacing, and the grounds were infested with ants.
I've lived here for three weeks, and all of these problems still exist. I've turned in the "problem worksheet" and had maintenance here or left messages on the emergency line numerous times without resolve to any of these issues or even a call back.
Today was the final straw when I started smelling urine by the front door. Due to the heavy rain and bad weather stripping the floor got damp. Upon further investigating, I found that the floor under the carpet is rotten and molding, which is a health hazard. I further found that the wood is saturated with animal urine. Now my apartment smells like urine. You can't even stand to be anywhere near the front door.
