I have lived at The villages of Marley Station for almost 5 months now, This will be my last. I recently moved here from another state and the $$$ is what attracted me initially... First let me start off by saying that I personally have not had any problems with the property and or its residence since I have been here, I am gone most of the day and early into the evening working. Out side of the un supervised children tearing up the fitness center, and laundry, the people have never bothered me...BUT there are a few things I don't do very well and ROACHES are one of them. I have had roaches since day one, and I was told that it was the person before me..... OK so why the hell wasn't the problem taken care of. My apartment was filthy when I moved in. Prior to moving in I cleaned and mopped EVERYTHING. Shortly after I moved in (first day) I started seeing roaches, I notated this on my move in sheet, and basically have been dealing with this everyday since. NOT, can't do it. Some people can do roaches, and if you are that type of person, then you may be a good fit for this community. I have had 12 "treatments" in this apartment, they didn't do a thing, but feed the roaches I gathered. I have since had another company come out and evaluate the community, and long story short I have an infestation. Management of course stated that they do not see a sign of infestation. Well, when you clean up as much as I do, bleach and mop, sure there are not going to be any roaches in the DAY time when you come. I have since hired an attorney, gave written notice after numerous attempts to resolve the problem. I have only gotten, management is out sick, they will call you back, we'll send pest control again, they'll call you back, they are not in.. RUN AROUND. Not a healthy environment. The last straw for me, was when I went to get my son up for bed, and there was a roach crawling on his bed cover on top of him... again NOT...

No I moved out at the end of November, after living there 6 months. And I am so thankful to be gone...

I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU WENT THRU, ARE Y0U STILL LIVING THEIR.I JUST MOVED IN THEIR 2 YEARS AGO AND THE MAINTANCE IS HORRIBLE, THEIR HAS BEEN 3 CHANGES IN MANAGMENT, AND THEY DO GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND, THEY JUST RAISED MY RENT BY 75 DOLLARS AND I PUT MY 30 DAY NOTICE IN I AM GLAD TO BE LEAVING.
