My husband and I had to move to Glen Burnie for the summer for an internship and had to pick an apartment site unseen. We really lucked out with Village Square. In fact, one of the big selling points to us were the good reviews found on this site. We have a 2/1 second floor apartment, and it's plenty big enough for us and our cats. It's quite expensive compared to Gainesville/FL prices, but i guess that is to be expected up north...plus the short-term lease premiums.
They apparently just finished the pool and fitness room which are GREAT. Each building has it's own laundry site, so you aren't schlepping your clothes across the complex or town to wash them. Our neighbors are quiet, and the community is clean and quiet. Seems very safe at night as well.
The only cons we've had, if you can call them that...is that you CAN hear people walking above you

How is your electric bill (high, low, or reasonable?
Also is their a lot of loitering? We are seriously looking into this complex at a 2br/1ba or 1br/1ba and are worried about these 2 things.
