It's Allright

I have lived in a Townhome in Village Square for a while now and I can say that off and on, it's good and it's not so good. In terms of getting things fixed, it's done very fast, especially if it is air conditioning in the summer or the heating in the winter. The Townhome was pretty clean when we arrived, however, it didn't appear as if they had put a new carpet in, no problem; nothing a vaccum can't fix. The office staff is very nice and helpful when you have a question. They just built a new community center and pool, which is appealing. One downside is that it is next to Greentree apartments, which I think make this place appear more appealing. The neighbors are pretty nice but you see a lot of people come and go, so there are rushes of different people moving in every few months or so. The cons are: the walls are paper thin, so you can hear your neighbors pretty good (especially if they love to play loud music or TV), there are children left to wander about the street (they play ball in the street and sometimes inbetween the end-units, I'm sure that the noise bothers those end-unit tennants). The kids need to have more than just the little play area that they provide far from some of the townhomes and apartments. For the most part, the grounds apprear pretty clean but the trash cans get filled up quickly. They are raising rent every year and now the water and sewer will not be included in the rent, which is good and bad, people love to waste water. Overall, compared to other apartment communities in the area, I would recommend Village Square rather than the others.
