I recently moved to Glen Burnie from Erie, Pennsylvania. I lived in a rural community where turkeys in my front lawn were the norm. When I began looking for apartments in Glen Burnie I turned to this site as a resource. Let me just say that this site has it's up points, but DO NOT let it dissuade you from Windbrooke, or from checking out other apartments for that matter.

I've lived in Windbrooke for about a month now, and let me just say that I couldn't be happier. The thing you have to remember about any of these apartments is that you have to rate the apartments and not the neighbors. Any apartment complex can have bad neighbors, and while others have complained about neighbors here, I have yet to have that concern. I have seen at least two law enforcement officers who live in the complex. If you don't want them as neighbors, then maybe this isn't your place. To the person who said that there are sirens all night long, I encourage people to look at a map and see what's in the surrounding community. There's a hospital less than a mile away, so yeah, you are going to hear sirens. The hospital being close actually makes me safer.

Safety was a big key for me when moving here, and I feel safe in Windbrooke. I encourage you check out Windbrooke. They have great service, and the lady in the Office can't be beat!

in response to your thoughts about Winbrooke Apartments, I moved here at the very end of July and I am still currently a resident here. Let me just say, I am glad to hear someone likes it here, and I wish I lived in your building, because maybe I would be happier. SAFETY is an extreme issue, my building was broken into approx 2 months ago, they climed right into their child's bedroom window. And my extreme issue...My building has been infested with roaches, since day 1. So I think everyone has different opinions, and all of their opinions are most likely true. Believe me when July 08 comes around I will be moving, and will do a better job of looking into where I am moving. Yes there are these things everywhere, but not EVERYONE should have to live this way.
