Parking has become a major problem because management allows tenants to have as many cars as they want. A lot of single tenants own more than one car! It's ridiculous that someone renting a one bedroom apt can park two or three cars out front. Overall maintenance of the property has gone downhill quick, fast and in a hurry. The maintenance people are condescending and don't listen when you explain the problem. They think they know everything. They also leave a mess behind when they leave. Usually, they fix the problem the first time. Also, the maintenance staff has a history of sleeping with the tenants! They prey on the single women, flirt with them and then jump from one woman to the next or string along several at a time. It's a damned soap opera. This community is 40 years old and is really showing it's age. The windows are a single pane of glass! The gutters and fascias are falling apart and there are a lot of large old trees with dead limbs. The management has become more relaxed as concerns who they will rent to, i.e., anyone can move in, drug dealers, whores, redneck psychotic trash, etc. Used to be difficult to get into this community. Not anymore. Have job, get an apartment. The management office has the worst possible hours for the tenants. They open at 8:30, after most people have left for work, and close at 4:00, before most people get home from work. It's just ridiculous. The property manager is more concerned with the neighborhood gossip. She lives on the property. Used to be that this place was kept ---- and span and had real nice people living here. Can't say that anymore. The buildings are getting dirty, beginning to show a lack of upkeep and Brookly and South Baltimore trash are moving in. Parking could be better if registered cars were given a numbered parking spot.
