wow where to start with the reasons why you SHOULD NOT RENT HERE!!!! #1-its staright GHETTO #2-the heat/air units are 40 yrs old #3-the beautiful 8 ft sliding glass door makes your bge bill in the summer avg 3 to 400$ because it leaks what ------ air comes out #4-the electrical in this place is DANGEROUS(buildings have burned down due to this) #5-the property manager ----- has a real attitude problem when you ask for reasonable repairs #6-the maintenance staff is over worked due to being understaffed(so dont count on getting anything fixed quickly) #7-the unruly kids(wow ill let u read the other comments on this) #8-the apartment you look at to rent WONT BE THE ONE YOU GET(it convienietly gets rented before you move in <--lol) #9-did i mention how dirty this place is i mean wow its clean for like 1 day a week then 6 its a freaking landfill #10-my air conditioner has been down for over 2 weeks and all i hear is we will get to you in order(theres no order i know for a fact) that ------ girl in the office picks and chooses what gets fixed and if she dont like you she will find a way to make you move #11-ive overheard staff talking about all quitting on the same day because of the managers attitude problem and how she wont order supplys so they can do their job(how can you fix something if you have nothing to fix it with)<-- probably why my a/c hasnt worked nor have i seen or heard anything about fixing it #12-the ------- in the office is a real ----- too she supposedly got demoted for this thats why shes here now(the new girl is awsome they should fire those other 2 and make her the boss then things would change im sure)anyways im running out of room but beleive me ive been here long enough to fill you in on EVERYTHING but whats the point you'll still rent here because they will pull the wool over your eyes and trap you into a lease and haha now your stuck and MISERABLE! SO IF YOU DONT HAVE TO THEN DONT you will regret it i promise this place is absolutely horrible oh and p.s those good reviews wow they sound like something the girls in the office would say as they give you their sales pitch!just food for thought! oh i forgot too the front doors HA i watched a maintenace guy break in to one that they had no keys for in under 20 seconds <--- more food for thought on safety!but if you do make a bad decision and move here dont blame the maintenance guys they work their butts offf they just have terrible management telling them what to do!

I wouldn't put much stock in this review. It sounds to me like it came from a disgruntled ex-employee (I heard one of the maintenance guys got fired). I have lived here for 5 years and know that this place has improved drastically in the last year. The new management team is great!! I wouldn't live anywhere else!!

Well I have lived here for 3 years now and I have to disagree, sounds like the girls at the office have way too much free time on their hands and as for a disgrunteled ex employee in the three years I have been here they have dropped like flies so it seems the management can't get it together to keep employees. As for the complex it is dangerous, the pizza man won't deliver. There are kids that hang out in the hallways at all hours of the day and night, drinking and smoking pot, the police are constantly present. There are roaches in the hallways and other lovely bugs that no one wants inhabiting their home, including bed bugs. Not to mention the fact that my air conditioning has been broken for over a week now and for whatever the reason no one can pull it together enough to fix it! All in all the bottom line is there are way more serious issues here then just the high school drama that is obviously going on with the employees, believe me when I say there are PLENTY of nicer places to rent in Glen Burnie

I agree with both reviews to a certain extent. The complex has changed for the better, however there is still alot of work to be done. The staff has changed dramatically from year to year. I think the staff has improved and they are trying to do the best they can. I have seem both ends of the spectrum as far as tenants go. I have seen a change in the amount of drug and drinking traffic on my end of the complex (near the office). I have lived there for 6 years. As a single working parent it suited my needs. Now being married we are looking for a house, and I would hope that this complex continues to improve. I was under the impression that there were to be cameras installed over the entire property because of the drug activity and all the loitering. I have never had a problem and still do not mind calling the police when there is illegal activity going on. If you are kind, and not arrogant to the staff they do go out of their way to accomodate you. I don't know that I wuould choose this complex of I had another choice, and I don't think I would recommend it to anyone. I will not move into another apartment though while waiting to purchase a home. Eveyone that lives here is not ghetto as one person put it. We are a hard working balanced family and we live here, and there is plenty of diversity. I think the leasing agents put certain people together ie: section 8 together if they don't work, why would you put them in a building with people that go to work everyday? Or put couple or single person in with a building full of families with alot of children. Anyway, if you have problems, (that's with anywhere you live) keep complaining and issues like bugs, filth, rodents etc. there is such a place as the Health Department which WILL take everyone's complaints seriously because I had to do that when I first moved in. Everyone deserves a decent clean pleace to live, however, you must be clean and decent yourself and take care of your surroundings...
