I came here a year ago under the pretense that this was a nice community. The leasing agent was very nice and helpful and showed me a beautiful apartment, however that all changed the day I moved in! When I showed up to get my keys I was told that there was a problem with the original apartment but they would happily accomodate me with another one for a slightly lesser price, I agreed because I figured it would be similar to the one I looked at (wrong!) It has awful wood floors that have huge chunks missing out of the floor, the kitchen is a throw back to 1970 appliances and all. The laundry rooms are dirty and are never kept locked. No respectable carry out place will deliver after 7 pm, the doors are paper thin and you can hear all your neighbors when you come up the stairs. There is always some kind of commotion going on outside that requires police attention not to exclude a shooting early this year, various forms of drug activity and sad to say in the wee hours of the night you can see the occasional prostitute conducting business in parked cars. I feel unsafe walking outside late at night but that does not seem to bother the local kids that can be seen hanging out on the sidewalks and entry ways. They made an effort to have security present in the neighborhood which was nice but it seems only come now when it's a major emergancy. There is plenty of parking but for the above mentioned reasons you want to stay as close to the building as possible. I could go on and on but you get the idea. Overall the staff is mediocre at best, they are more then happy to get you to lease but after that it's hit or miss when you have a problem, and getting the small things fixed in your home is practically impossible so don't bother. It's worth it to pay the few pennies extra to move somewhere else where there aren't as many issues.
