Worst decision you can make!

The worst aspect at this apartment complex is the staff. Their only worry is making sure they get your money (and lots of it too-major rip off). I rented online from another state and my monthly rent was $1000; the official move in date was June 24th and they charged me $500 for the remaining days of June (6 days). However I didn?t move in until mid July and when I got there from the airport it was late and I didn?t have the key; they never cared to send one over the mail they just made sure I had paid the $500, July?s $1000 and lots of deposit before I even moved in; I mailed their payments couldn?t they have mailed my key. But no, when I got there late at night all tired from the trip and had to call maintenance they charged me $20.00 for the lockout; oh they?re so nice and welcoming. And that?s the image they want to sell; oh yeah we?ll take care of you (Wlecome Home to Hickory Hills...yeah sure); the only thing they care about is getting the most money out of you one way or another. And two days on a row when I got home from work my door was wide open and they had no explanation for that. The gym is small and only 2 or 3 of the gym machines work. I stopped going though because my neighbor happened to be a psycho that would follow me everywhere including when I went to the gym at night. The place was full of ticks and spiders; I found one sucking at my foot while I was taking a bath. They don?t take good care of the surroundings so you?ll see a lot of bugs around the place. After a couple of months I knew the place was not safe so I decided to break the lease, and well they require a 60 day notice and a termination fee of $1740. I moved in with a friend right away but because of the 60-day notice and the $1740 termination fee they managed to get 4 months pay out of me ($4000). So I?m still paying that place right now. When you go there to break the lease they will treat you like s#!t, trust me, it?s unbelievable. Renting there is the worst decision you can make. Also their apartments are overpriced because they assume that you?ll join their rent-now-own-later program so they?re actually charging more on purpose. They will also make you pay for cable TV even if you don?t want that cable or if you don?t have a TV. I had moved in and it was 1 or 2 months before I had a TV so I was paying cable for nothing. If you want you can contact me at jeandelamotte007@hotmail.com; I can show you all the evidence.
