I am currently a long term renter here and have been so due to the VERY convenient location of Charlestown North. An added bonus is that it s in an extremely safe and clean area of Greenbelt.

Now the cons; this place has the potential to be the preeminent apartment housing complex in the city of Greenbelt and surrounding areas. The reason why it isn t is due to the omnipresent roaches, which you cannot miss in the hallways and stairways, and the excessive rent.

I ve been here for just over 5yrs and the rent was very reasonable considering other places that I considered. Due to new mgmt there are hefty rent increases forthcoming. So hefty in fact (25% more) that I will no longer consider staying here.

The rental office staff is friendly for the most part but my major grip is with the maintenance staff and the constant UNANNOUNCED entries of the units (which is actually against the law mind you).

Long story short, the location is ideal but the price to reside here is not remotely justifiable. Good Luck!
