1. Can you live peacefully with roaches (they are everywhere you wont miss them)
2. Can you fix everything by yourself (so you dont have to deal with the staff)
If you answer yes to all the questions above, you will be ok in Charlestowne North.

BTW, I think most of the positive feedbacks were actually left by the staff in here... keep up the good work!

I have been here 1.5 years and also have NEVER seen a cockroach. I have also had nothing but good interaction with the staff and my maintenance requests have always been attended to in a timely fashion. I think this is a great place to live... and BTW... I have left a fantastic review and photos on this website and I DON'T work for the company :) A Happy RESIDENT :P

Seems to me you are very unhappy here. I have been here for over 2 years and have never had roaches in my apartment but even if i did i believe they have an exterminator. As far as the office staff they have always responded to my maintenance request the same day or the next.

i honestly don't know how people put up with roaches... i guess mclaughe and the Charlestowne North staff could just miss those little nasty bugs... glad I moved out... good luck to you and your roach roomates...

I have been here for 6 months and have never seen a cockroach. I like to keep my apartment clean so maybe that has something to do with it. I also love the staff and all of my maintenance problems have been responded to quickly. When my dishwasher broke, I had a new one within 2 days. Oh and I also do not work for Charlestowne North.

i have seen roaches crawling all over the place, i mean, outside of my apt... u dont believe it, dont worry, will take some pix and put them in here...

I have been here a year and I have seen roaches. Our apartment is maintained and clean but in an apartment setting it's not just what you're doing. There have been some to come through our bathroom drains and a few that even managed to come as far as the living room. More so than that I have seen many in the stair case and if you go there now, there's a dead one between the 2nd and 3rd floor I believe. To management's credit, they did come and spray our unit for us when we told them there was a problem. We got some spray and those black squares and they went away for months....though I saw one last month :-( I think the problem mainly stems from all that trash going down the the ground floor. You have to pay for the convenience of not walking outside to throw your trash away. The lower floors probably experienced the problem more than others. This place isn't the greatest, but it is by far not the worst. It's extremely expensive and we're moving out because of it. Overall my experience was good (not great b/c of bugs).

not management here. Never seen a roach. Managment... I love them. They call me by name since the day I moved in, always helpful and willing to attend needs. Elevators are slow but rumor is they will be fixed. We take the stair more often nown and helps keep me in shape after a visit in the gym.
