I got approved for a 2 bedroom here and turned it down after I compared this place to another place. This is why I turned it down. They have carpet in their bathrooms - YUCK - your bound to get a musty smell and mold growing. Although she said it was going to be removed, by the time I needed the apartment they wouldn't have taken it out yet. The washer and dryer are like 20 years old and small as hell! You would probably be better just paying to go to the laundromat. Another reason Im glad that I didn't move here is because of how I was treated by the staff.
I gave them a deposit check on a Thursday and got a call from one of the staff ladies the following day asking me am I sure about taking the apartment. I told her I wasn't sure but I would call her on Monday letting her know if I was serious. Well, I called on Monday and told her I had found someplace else which was cheaper and way more up to date and clean then Brittany Place. That's when she called me on Tuesday telling me that my check would be sent back to me. That Thursday, I check my acccount and they cashed my check!!!! I was furious! I called them up and they told me someone would get back to me - no one did. I called on Friday and they told me that I have to wait for a check from the corporate office (which I found out was all the way in upstate NY) and that could take a week.

The staff had no sympathy what so ever to the situation, nor did they even think it was their fault. If I give you a check and then tell you I don't want the apartment, why do you proceed to still cash my check' So now I'm waiting to get my check (after a week of them taking it) and I already have another apartment and I need my money.

I am so glad I didn't move here, and then to hear about all these muggings, robberies and thefts' They will say anything to you to get you to move in there....I'm so glad I turned them down.
