Renter(s) BEWARE! Everything that you have read or are about to read is true! Sadly I am a current resident of Brittney Place and as all the others who have written reviews here I can not tell a lie. In the 2 years that I have been here I have seen a serious decline in the upkeep and management. They played dress up with some selected apartments by upgrading the doors and balconies, which is VERY tacky due to the fact that your outdated building may now sit between two that have received the special attention. I recently moved from a 1-bedroom on the front side to a 2-bedroom on the back...BIG mistake! Initally I only had and issue w/the overflow of trash not being picked up regularly & spilling over into the lots. Now on the back there's still the same problem along w/old furniture, old ovens, carpet and refrigerators. Parking is a HUGE problem, like the other writer said, if your not in by a decent hour you can forget parking in front of your building! The hoodlums are out in full force day & night. Even with the threat that management will evict those who are found guilty of loitering...Ha what a joke! They sit in your hallways, linger in the parking lots and the courtyards as well as around the bustop in front of the property, which the Rental office has a full view of and yet they never board a bus! And is it not strange to walk outside your door and find drug paraphernalia laying about' I mean when is enough enough'' There is NO security, repeat NO SECURITY! Management claimed that they hired some, but to piggyback off another writer...his name must be Casper, because he/she/whomever is non existent! And gun shots ring out often! As a matter of fact just last night about 11:30 pm. Oh and don't think either that just because you are in an apartment that you won't have to shovel snow...I'm here to tell you at Brittney place you have to fend for yourself or pray that the sunshine melts it away because if your waiting for maintenance...FORGET! Needless to say I am NOT a satisfied resident and with God willing I will be able to get rid of this headache. I felt compelled to share my experience with readers in hopes of preventing them/you from the same symptoms! With what they charge for rent they need to just bulldoze the property and start from scratch, at least then you stand a chance of getting a better looking place! I could go on but I think I've painted a vivid picture! Good Luck and Happy Apartment hunting! :)
