Oh Brittany Place!

I have lived here since April of 2000. One would think that after 5 years of being somewhere I'd have at least one nice thing to say about this community. And I do. It is very convenient. Beyond that, I would advise looking across the street at Glen Oaks or applying for a mortgage because as high as the rent is, you're paying one by living here anyway!
Unfortunately for me, divorce, layoffs, and bankruptcy have kept me in this God forsaken place much longer than I ever intended to be. I live in the front of the complex so I have been spared the gun shots and litter for the most part. However, suffice it to say that the each of the other reviews pretty much sum up all of the problems I have had since I moved in. I was here before the property was bought by Home Properties and with all the "prettyfying" of the property, the management and maintenance staff are still inept and slow, the interior of the units are in diar need of remodeling -- to match the $1100 per month they are charging people, and the walls are so thin I can hear way more than I'd like to hear coming from people's bedrooms.
If you are planning to move here, take advantage of the short team lease and look for a house in Greenbelt. The area is great, but this complex IS NOT. P0MtU6TIdDkM23RTonAS
