I've lived in Brittany place for two years. I was greeted with a smile, the application process took only 10 min for a instant approval. In the two years I've lived here I've only seen one roach. I'm surpirsed to read about young thugs, gun shots being fired in the community.. My building is loacated in the back last before entering the condo community adjourned to Brittany Place. Since they've enforced towing I haven't had any problmes with finding a park when I come home late. Yes, there is a problem with the trash, but thats only because adults leave the responsiblity of trash removal to their small children who can't often reach inside the bin, I have wittness on numerous occasions a bin being completly empty but yet a small child leaves the trash on the ground because they could not reach or the bag is to heavy for them to pick it up and place it on the inside. I can say that the trash I see scattered across the community from the weekend is gone Monday evening when I arrive home from work. I live on the top floor and my building is quiet therefore I have had no problem with noise. There was this one inccident whereas an occupant of one unit would smoke his "medicine" a neighbor kindly placed a note at everyone's unit saying, I have NO say so in what you do in the comfort of your home but please camouflage the smell that may be offensive to others by placing a towel at the bottom of your door or burning incense, IT WORKED, we haven't smelled anything since. I have had one complaint with a maintenance staff memember, my washer machine flooded my kitchen and dining area after hours, the maintenace tech on call who responed was very RUDE. I called the office the next morning, was immediatley transfered to the property mananger. She was very apologetic, asked me to put it in writing, and arrange for my entire unit (2bd Rm Den) carpet to be cleaned throughout instead of just the damaged area. True some of the newer tenants moving in do not meet my entire approval rating but after speaking with Anita Stanford the property manager I feel that she is working very hard to make Brittany Place a beautiful place and enviroment to live. In driving through the community I can see very positive signs of changes, work is continuously being done to beautify the property. A community is what "WE" make it, it takes the entre "Villiage" if our eyes and ears become vocal I think we can make positive changes. This has been my personal experience with living at Brittany Place. I think if you're a person who likes to be involved in the community a person who beleives that changes take time and are not afraid of your eyes and ears being your vocal you'll enjoy living here....

I don't know if you live in the same community WE live in but the trash problem is not just as you characterize it. I live closer to the entrance of the community and on either side, there is a build up of trash in FULL dumpsters and it takes DAYS to remove it. In addition people, probably kids, litter trash throughout without a care. They need trash cans around the property near the interior where littering is BAD. My car has been vandalized twice in two months. I just moved there in May. I met someone who moved from there who had the SAME problem with car vandalizm. Security is a freakin joke. Our hallway always smells of urine. They are definitely doing cosmetic work/projects on the property but the quality of the place is still considerably LOW. Parking is a huge issue on one side of the complex near the front of the community. People have different standards and I can say Brittany Place does not meet mine. Because you live on the top floor, the noise is probably not as much of an issue which is why I would rather be in a top unit. God knows it is an issue for us living underneath someone who marches and stomps until late night. Glad you have a wonderful experience but I bet a survey of the property would show that is not the norm.

I would like to add that I am on the top floor and it is not all it's cracked up to be.

I'm on the top floor also and it seems like people live above us. I can hear everytime the neighbor goes to the bathroom, or watching tv at night.
