I read most of these reviews (which are negative) and sit here thinking what Brittany Place are they living in. I moved in the middle of January '07 and have had an amazing experience. My apartment is fabulous (I did do a partial remodel, which gave me a new kitchen and new bathroom floor and light fixture). The window insallation is wonderful. I live close to the main road and I don't hear a thing. My building is super quiet and well maintained on the interior and exterior. No roaches, or any other pest to complain about. 9 times out of ten, I get the parking space that I want, and when family and friends visit, they have no problems either. There is no loitering around my building and the security officers are very visable. Lastly, the rental office staff is very curtious and efficient, and all of my maintenance request (which haven't been any since my initial move in walk thru) were processed in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend Brittany Place to others (which I have and my friend has been having the same great experience).

Maybe it's because you do live close to the front being the reason... I can tell you 1st hand about the roach infested apartment complex I lived in... I can tell you about walking my 3 kids and watching these guys sitting smoking weed and drinking. I can tell you about all the bad kids unsupervised after midnight throwing footballs at my windows... How about my car and fiance's car vandalized. Mine was attacked 3 times, with her car twice... How about 2-3 monthly maintenance visits for things that simply don't work... How about before I got my new stove it had roaches all in the clock area, imagine cooking on that... Explain the electricity situation, crazy... Parking, yeah right... I take it you come in around 5 and stay home... Blasting music all times of the night, what apartment do you have that it is in a bubble unable to hear? MAYBE YOU DON'T SEE BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO...

It IS because you live in the front - PERIOD. The back of the complex is like "The Carter" from the movie New Jack City. The units closest to the rental office are ALWAYS better maintained. That's how they suckered you into moving there! Transfer to the back. You'll be ready to move it the next day.
