Please don't move here it is not worth the money. Maintenance is worthless in that should you have an emergency, it takes them forever to fix. The only reason I've stayed for 4 yours, did not want to change my daughter's high school. This place is over priced and is definitely not worth the money. If you move here, you will regret it trust me.

I agree with everything stated about management, parking, noise, utilities, maintenance, etc. However, the noise for me is a major issue, which is due to the fact that the buildings are quite old and not well structured. This is a major issue for some that the leasing office fails to mention you when you lease an apartment. I hate the fact that I can hear my upstairs neighbor when she is home, or when her boyfriend is there and sounds like an elephant walking across the floor, or when something drops on the floor it sounds like it s coming through the ceiling. I know that it s not their fault entirely (unless they are doing it on purpose) but it still pisses me off. The neighbors who were living below me used to play video games in their bedroom at all hours of the night and I'm sure they had surround-sound because it was extremely loud. I have not complained to the leasing office because it is the structure that they nor the police can do anything about. You can smell others cooking which can be offensive and not at all desirable, and smell cigarette smoke. You can here conversations, the floors are extremely creaky and extra padding does not help since I have had several different neighbors living above me. If I can here them, I am sure they can hear me. The only remedy is investing in ear plugs, which I have done until I move. For those who were not caught up in the housing market crash, which probably propelled you to the Gates of Cipriano due to the influx of DC/other residents, the prices are receding and it s looking pretty good for first-time homebuyers.
