I've lived in Lakeside North for almost 4 years and have no major complaints. Very safe, nice location, close to metro, beltway, shopping, UMD suttle bus, Greenbelt lake and walking paths. No noisy neighbors , although I can sometimes hear the people above walking (stumping..)

Management has always been helpful and nice, prompt to respond to requests for maintenance.

The apartments have a good size, large windows with lots of light. The buildings are old, and have problems related to old buildings (insulation not too good, one of the bedrooms in my apartment stays always cold in winter, while the other rooms are warm). I have never had roaches (but did have ants) and the exterminator is available once a week if needed.
My main complaint would be that the rent raises have been too high in the last 2 years.
