I got an apartment at Springhill Lake. When I arrived fires all around the complex started to happen. Then at my leased signing it was agreed that I'd pay electricity through them. 3 mths later I recieved a letter saying my account would be transfered to Pepco. 2 days later I recieved a billl in the mail for 3mths of electric due 2 days from the day I recieved it. Needless to say my electricity was cut off. I then recieved an eviction notice for owning pets. I dont own any pets. I went to get it striaght with the rental office. Then said they had witnesses reporting I had pets there. Now Im ready to move so geting out of the lease isnt a problem. The problem lies with them tryna serve me an eviction notice that states I need to move in 14 days when the law says I should have 30 days. Many tenants are getting eviction on bogus charges. My advice to you is dont fall a victim. They have many departments. So every dispute you need to go to a different department. Its like an all day process. They are more then unorganized. Im very upset with Springhill Lake.

thanxs also i was considering this apartment until i saw your notice. Next time the office mang. calls me ill say " no thanks i want an apartment with no arson".

I don't get how USA citizens think about architecture/shelter. First of all, isn't your Landlord named AIMCO. I know I pay rent by making a check out to AIMCO. Do the people in Springhill Lake made a check out to AIMCO? How about the people who live in the Towers at Westechester? I look at your architecture and it looks really good to me. Why don't you tenants form an architecture committee? Why don't you discuss your temple the way the Pentateuch describes its temple? I should think in nano tek century where Hydrogen is the first substance, and in a recession, we have plenty of time on our hands to be scientific about real estate. We could all define the word Landlord legally. I'm puzzled about all this so I'd appreciate your thoughts. We all have different brainware until they declare us terrorists and fiddle around with our brains. The terrorists are smarter, they just chop our heads off:)
