Don't Move In Move On!

These apartments are the largest in Prince George's County and the worst to live in. The maintenance department does not respond on a timely manner. The rental department is very unprofessional and have no clue to what Community Relations really means. The only time you can reach them is when it's time to pay rent or renew your lease. The crime rate is extremely high despite the presence of Greenbelt Police. The walls are thin and you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying. Drug use and shootings are a common thing, just check the Greenbelt paper if you don't believe me. Personal property theft is common. The community needs to invest money and rennovate these buildings, even though they promised to do this four years ago. In the winter the apartments are cold and in the summer their hot. Heat and air conditioning is consistently not working. Foul odor in the hallway and feces in the basement washing machines. Used condoms in the parking area. Don't move in move on!

I understand what you mean. I lived here for 3 years and nothing has changed since the new management has taken over. I consistently have leaks in my bathroom ceiling. The AC/HEAT never work. I have cracks in the ceiling throughout the apartment. Fighting roaches. The maintenance people are rude and never come to fix anything. My refrigerate went out and call the maintanence office since 9:30am and still no one has come to fix the problem. Now I have to throw away food that has thrawed. Who can afford to do that in this economy. My advice to anyone is to never move in that complex. It's a nightmare!
