I have lived in various apartments in MD/DC/VA over the years. Every Apartment complex has its problems. Maintainence issues, customer service, safety issues etc.. The rent is very reasonable, the property being so large, 2900 units; is clean most of the time. Besides the usual things that may need to be fixed (property has been here forever), its not a bad place to live. I live on a relatively quiet street. Besides 495 cars wizzing by, I hardly even notice it or I've gotten use to it, my building is quiet. There are families in my building that watch their kids and everyone around here has a 9to5 for the most part. The Greenbelt Police Department is highly visiable, even though they are a small police department, they spend alot of time around here. Don't get me wrong, there is crime everywhere, even in neighborhoods with $500,000 houses. Thats a reality we all live with. Overall, the place is a decent place to live until you save for a home, like me..If you visit the leasing office ask for Elizabeth Guzman and tell her Phil Honore(9308ER21) sent ya..so I can get that discount if you sign up. LOL, thanks.

Just wait until you get your first "someone's been shot" memo taped to your door... Please re-post your opinion when this occurs.
