Phoeey!! What a bunch of baloney. 100 percent of SHL is "troubled". I think SHL must be the Lorton/Jessup replacement.

You know what's sad? I grew up in SHL from 1967 to 1979 and it was great to grow up in. It was when first the college yuppies, then the thugs joined the neighborhood that it went downhill. Not a racist remark. The college yuppies were white, the thugs black. It started as a family development, then went downhill in the 80's. My parents lived there 40 years and it actually got dangerous when I finally got them out last year. They did live in roach infestation for 80% of their life though. I assume some parts are still good. I'm glad I live in Georgia.

Let me tell you that SHL was forced to move out of Southeast because it was too bad! Don't start lying to people regarding this apartment complex. What kind of family do you plan on raising in this community? I hope your going to teach your baby how to defend themselves. Please stop the madness!

I agree, justdtruth4u respond to everything do you work? Do you even live in SHL. probably was evicted! SHL has its problem just like any other community. It's funny that you hear all these bad blogs about SHL but you see that the person has stayed up till 4 years or more, if it is that bad why in the world would you stay? I like my apartment and even if things happen at SHL so what it can and will happen anywhere.
