When I first moved here in 2001 I loved my apartment. My unit is rather large and I felt safe. However, now I'm ready to break my lease and move. Between the fires, mice, and rising crime in the area, I don't feel safe and no longer feel this is the place for my child and myself. I didn't see a mouse in my unit until 2005, now I'm trapping them every couple of weeks. I live on the third floor, so I can't imagine how bad the problem is for my neighbors on the first floor. Our laundry room smells like a bathroom and the washers rarely work. Calling the office to report the problems doesn't help much, it's rare that anything is done. 4 years ago I would have highly recommended Springhill Lake, but now I would say run!

That's right run as fast as you can. Leave this dump to the mice and other bugs that lerk around the complex. SHL needs to really renovate and stop talking about renovations and stop endangering peoples life with all these fires. Safety inspectors need to intervene!
