Maybe New Management Is the Answer

Given the fires, mice, and maintainence nightmares I'm happy to see that Springhill Lake has gone under new management. Maybe this will be the change we need.
In response to the review that I'm assuming was written by an employee: True enough sometimes people don't pay their rent on time, but I'd like to address the fact that some of us pay on time and our rent mysteriously disappears in your office. I've had this happen to me more than once. It's disheartening to know that over a thousand dollars of your hard-earned money can disappear in their offices and when a resident makes an attempt to trace the money orders they're confronted with rude attitudes and is never given a apology for the inconvenience of having to take time off from work to go to court to prevent an eviction even though your rent was paid!
And let's not begin to talk about how many times you have to call maintainence to resolve problems... and then call them again when they do a half-baked job the first time. I do realize that 3,000 units are a lot to manage, but that should tell you that it's time to hire adequate staff to handle it.

I hope SHL does get new management, AIMCO is the worst management company I have seen operating and they should have released these apartments to someone who cares five years back. A Residents Interest Group is just what this community is in need of, a group of people who are invested in seeing change.

I would really like to know if "justdtruth4u" lives at Springhill Lake now or if they have ever lived here. This individual comments on almost everything posted. Seems to be an authority on everything. I guess it must feel good to constantly condemm anything and everything. I wonder if they have a solution to all the problems to help all those who live here and have no other place to go at the present time. Sometimes negativity is not always the answer. Maybe they could redirect their energies to help make much needed changes at Springhill Lake (Emperian Village).
