WHERE DO YOU ALL LIVE LIKE WHAT STREET BECAUSE I LIVE ACROSS FROM THE GAS STATION AND I DON'T HAVE ANY PROBLEMS LIKE THAT EXCEPT THE ------- MAINTENANCE CLAIM THEY COULD NOT GET INTO MY APARTMENT BACK IN MAY SO THEY COMPLETELY CHANGED THE LOCKS, I CAME HOME AND COULDN'T EVEN GET IN... I HAD TO CALL OVERNIGHT MAINTENCE WHICH IS TOTALLY LAZY IN MY SENSE AND THEN HE HAD TO BREAK THE NEW LOCKS OFF THE DOOR BECAUSE NOBODY COULD FIND THE NEW KEYS SO THEN ANOTHER NEW LOCK HAD TO BE PUT BACK ON WITH NEW KEYS..BUT YOU CAN BET YOUR LIFE I GAVE MAINTENANCE SOME WORDS THAT VERY NEXT DAY. ALSO I USED TO LIVE IN 6214 #301 BREEZEWOOD COURT LAST YEAR AND I HAD TO GO BECAUSE THEM NASTY ASS MICE SET UP REFUGE IN MY APT., I FIRST SAW ONE IN APRIL, I LET THAT ISSUE GO THEN HERE COMES 2 MORE IN JUNE THEN I DECIDED IT WAS TIME TO MOVE FROM AROUND HERE MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER WHICH WAS 9 AT THE TIME WAS WATCHING T.V. WHEN SHE CAME AND TOLD ME THAT SHE SAW A BIG ASS BUG AND I SAID "HUH"' FROM THE WAY SHE DESCRIBED IT THEN I WENT LOOKING AROUND BUT NEVER FOUND ANYTHING THEN OUT OF NOWHERE I FINALLY SEEN IT, I THOUGHT TO MYSELF THIS IS SOME --------, I CALLED OVERNIGHT MAINTENANCE YET AGAIN AND THEY THOUGHT IT WAS FUNNY THAT ME OR MY DAUGHTER NEVER SAW ONE PERSONALLY I SAID "LOOK I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR GAMES, I PAY $955.00 AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE SO I SUGGEST YOU SEND SOMEONE OUT HERE RIGHT NOW BEFORE MY DAUGHTER HAVE A HEART ATTACK"! BECAUSE SHE WAS SCARED AS HELL SO THEY CAME AND COULDN'T FIND ANYTHING EXCEPT THE EXIT POINT SO THAT WAS COVERED UP. SO NOW LET'S START ON THE MONTH OF JUNE BECAUSE AGAIN THE PREVIOUS ONE WAS APRIL, OKAY IN JUNE THE ENTER POINT WAS THE CLOSET IN THE BATHROOM I WENT IN AND THERE IT WAS I PROCEEDED TO CALL AGAIN AT THAT POINT THAT'S WHEN I WAS ON MAD AS HELL FROM THE FIRST ONE AND I HAD TO CARRY MY DAUGHTER OVER THE COUCH AND OUT THE DOOR BECAUSE REMIND YOU SHE IS TERRIFIED AND WALKING OUT OF THERE JUST WASN'T A OPTION FOR HER,SO I PUT HER IN THE CAR AND I HAD TO GO BACK UPSTAIRS TO GET HER SOME JEANS OF SOME SORT BECAUSE HER CLOTHES WERE IN THE CLOSET IN HER ROOM AND EVER SINCE THE FIRST INTRODUCTION SHE DIDN'T WANT ANY PARTS OF THAT ROOM SO I GRABBED HER SHORTS AND GOT THE HELL OUT OF THERE! I DROVE TO THE MAINTENANCE OFFICE TO TELL SHARON THAT PUTS IN THE TICKETS WHAT I THOUGHT ABOUT HER, BECAUSE WHEN I CALLED THE FIRST TIME SHE TELLS ME TO "KILL IT AND THEN CALL BACK AND SHE'LL SEND SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GOING TO CHASE ANYTHING ALL OVER THE APARTMENT" SO AFTER I GOT THREW WITH HER I WENT UPSTAIRS TO THE CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND ASKED FOR A MOVE OUT FORM FROM SANDRA GARCIA WHICH IS NOT WORKING THERE ANYMORE SHE ASK ME WAS I SURE I WANTED TO MOVE,AND I SAY "ARE YOU SERIOUSLY ASKING ME AM I SURE, YES IM SURE! SO SHE GIVES ME THE FORM AND PLEASE BELIEVE I SAT RIGHT THERE AND FILLED IT OUT AND AFTER THAT I LEFT, AND WITH NO HOME TO GO TO I HAD TO STAY WITH MY GRANDMOTHER IT WAS AT THAT TIME SOME ONE FROM THE BUSINESS OFFICE CALLED ME AND TRIED TO CONVINCE ME TO MOVE INTO ANOTHER APARTMENT AND THAT THEY WOULD LESSER THE RENT AND I SAID TO MYSELF THEY REALLY TRYING TO BRIBE ME BECAUSE I THREATENED TO CALL CHANNEL 7, SO AS WE ALL KNOW THE PRICE TO CHANGE APARTMENTS IF YOUR LEASE ISN'T UP IS $700.00 SO THEY SAID THAT MAINTENANCE WILL MAKE IT A MAINTENANCE MOVE SO I WOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY THAT FEE. I TOOK A LOOK AT THE APARTMENT THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME AND ALSO TOOK A LOOK AT THE BUILDING AND THE TENANTS THAT STAYED THERE AN DECIDED IT WAS MUCH BETTER THAN THAT TRAP I WAS STAYING IN. SO BE WARNED READERS WHAT IM ABOUT TO TELL YOU WILL TURN YOUR STOMACH BECAUSE IT MAKES ME NAUSEA JUST TO TYPE IT, SO HERE IT GOES! I COME BACK TO MY PREVIOUS APARTMENT TO MOVE OUT AND I HAD MY BROTHER INLAW, MY COUSIN,MY SISTER AND ONE OF MY FRIENDS TO MOVE THE FURNITURE AND I OPENED THE DOOR AND NOTICE IT HAD THIS UNUSUAL ODOR TO IT I WENT A LITTLE FURTHER AND SUSPECTED THAT EXTERMINATION MUST HAVE BEEN THREW BECAUSE IT HAD BEEN ALOT OF MICE THERE BUT EXTERMINATION MUST HAVE MADE MY APARTMENT A GAS CHAMBER BECAUSE AFTER THEY WENT THREW ALL THE FOOD I HAD IN THE KITCHEN AND LEFT DROPPINGS EVERYWHERE POSSIBLE THEY WERE ALL DEAD AND I DO MEAN EVERYWHERE! EVERY PART OF THE APARTMENT, KITCHEN, ROOMS, CLOSETS, BATHROOM, LIVING ROOM, DINING ROOM, LET'S NOT FORGET ABOUT MY FUNITURE, UNDER THE COUCH, UNDER TABLES, IN CLOTHES AND BY THE BALCONY. NOW I HOPE YOU ALL FIGURED OUT BY NOW I WANTED NOTHING AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING THAT WAS IN THERE SO MY COUSIN FOUND A CART THAT WAS BY THE TRASH AND HE LOADED EVERYTHING IN THAT APARTMENT INTO IT AND DUMPED IT, THE ONLY THING I KEPT WAS MY COMPUTER AFTER MY BROTHER INLAW CAREFULLY INSPECTED IT SO I HAD TO BUY ALL NEW FURNITURE AND CLOTHES IT WAS TERRIBLE PEOPLE. MY SISTER WAS SO ANGRY BY THE END OF THE DAY THAT SHE TOLD HER HUSBAND TO TAKE ONE OF THE MICE OUT OF THE APARTMENT PUT IT IN A BAG, SO AFTER SHE CURSED THE MANAGER OUT {THAT'S MY SISTER} SHE'S A BIT MORE BLUNT THAN I SO SHE TOLD HER HUSBAND TO THROW THE BAG ON THE DESK AND SAID" THIS IS WHAT SET UP REFUGE IN MY SISTER APARTMENT AND IF YOUR EMPLOYEES HAD DONE THERE JOB,THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED! AND THEN SHE LEFT AND BY THAT TIME PEOPLE I WAS KIND OF EMBARRASSED THAT SHE DID THAT BUT I WASN'T MAD BECAUSE REMIND YOU I HAD BEEN CALLING THEM BEFORE ONE TURNED INTO HUNDREDS SO IT ALL COULD HAVE BEEN CONTROLLED. I TOLD THEM TO MOVE EVERYONE OUT OF 6214 B.C.AND FUMIGATE BECAUSE THEY CAN GO FROM APARTMENT TO APARTMENT AND EXTERMINATE BUT THAT WON'T HELP BECAUSE IT'S THE BUILDING NOW. CARMEN TOLD ME THAT THEY WOULDN'T RENT THAT APARTMENT OUT ANYMORE BUT THAT WAS COMLETE -------- BECAUSE SOMEONE LIVES IN IT RIGHT NOW, IT'S A SHAME HOW TRIFLING THE LEASING OFFICE IS. IM ACTUALLY A LITTLE GLAD THAT WE ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT MAYBE THIS IS WHAT WE NEED TO LIVE DECENT AND NOT FEEL LIKE WE ARE BEING ROBBED EACH TIME WE PAY OUR RENT. "HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND!"

Ms Fire - I hope you filed a claim with Springhill Lake to reimburse you for the cost of your property, since your loss was clearly from the negligence of Springhill Lake. If you have not done so, call the Landlord and Tenant Association and see what can be done about reimbursement, etc., even if it is after the fact. I certainly hope you had renters insurance. This is something everyone should have when renting. GOOD LUCK

Wow! You know this is a horror story and the health department should have been notified. Mice carry diseases and they breed every 21days so there is no wonder you had so many. If mice were just the problem with these apartments that would be one thing, but you didn't mention crime and vadalism that takes place everyday in this community. I know you have moved towards the lovely Shell gas station, which also is a liquor store so now you will deal with other problems on this part of SHL. Now you get the thugs that just pass through and sometimes want to hide out in your basement and defecate in the washing machines. People who want to stay up all night making noise, while your trying to sleep. Enjoy! You would have been better off moving up and out of these dumpy apartments. Aimco was the worst management company around and SHL sucks! I stronly suggest for no one to live here.

TO JUSTDTRUTH4U; TO HELL WITH THE BASEMENT I HAVE A WASHER ~N~DRYER IN THE UNIT SO NO NEED 2 USE THE LAUNDRY ROOM AND IM NOT CLOSE TO THE GAS STATION IM VERY FAR OFF OF IT AND IM ON THE THIRD FLOOR...SO I WON'T HAVE ANY OF THE PROBLEMS U STATED. AND I DIDN'T NEED TO CONTACT THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT BECAUSE I CONTACTED CHANNEL 7 WHICH PUT THEY ASSES ON FULL BLAST!!... AND I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS CRIME AND VANDELISM HERE TOO I NEVER ENCOUNTERED ANY OF THAT. BUT MY LEASE IS UP IN 2 WEEKS AND IM MOVING THIS TIME, I MOVED TO THIS APARTMENT BECAUSE I JUST DIDN'T FEEL THE NEED TO LET THEM OFF THAT EASILY WITHOUT MAKING THEM DO SOMETHING ABOUT THAT SITUATION...AND I HAD A COURT CASE IN AUGUST OF 2007 BECAUSE I FELT THEY SHOULD GIVE ME BACK MY RENT FROM JUNE, JULY,AND AUGUST BECAUSE IT WASN'T FIT TO LIVE THERE FROM THAT TIME AND THE JUDGE SAW IT MY WAY AFTER SHE WAS LITERALLY SICK TO HER STOMACH AFTER SHE SAW THE PICTURES OF THE APARTMENT IN ALL ITS DISGUST BEFORE AND AFTER. I WAS AWARDED MY RENT BACK ALONG WITH A EXTRA $2,000 DOLLARS JUST FOR THEM BEING TRIFLING...I KNEW THEM PICTURES WOULD COME IN HANDY. BUT I BEEN LIVING IN THIS APARTMENT WILL BE A YEAR IN 2 WEEKS AND I HAVE NOT HAD A PROBLEM WITH CRIME OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, JUST THE MAINTENANCE I CAN'T STAND BUT I FINALLY DECIDED TO MOVE OUT IN 2 WEEKS.
