The East Coast's largest apartment complex *cough* ghetto! If you like worrying about your apartment going up in flames, if you like looking over your shoulder every 2 seconds when you step outside, if you like cockroaches and mold, if you like a maintenance crew that doesn't do anything, if you like a snotty and rude management office that will stoop to any level to get more money out of you ("uhh, we tried to deposit your check but there were insufficient funds, you owe use late fees now or you're evicted." "No jack-a$$, here's a bank statement that says I have more than enough funds and the bank says you didn't even try to deposit it." "Oh, okay, sorry." True story.), if you like -------- standing around outside every night chugging cases of Carona listening to Mariachi music and whistling and saying disgusting things to you/ your gf or black dudes standing around with forties blasting rap or the two of them having a war in front of your apartment, if you like hearing gunshots late at night, and if you like having the police visit at least twice a day then this is the place for you! Place is an absolute joke. Fortunately I was bale to get of there ASAP since I was just rooming with some people until I found my own place.

You forgot one amenity: the noisy a$$ kids running all over the place.

You know a place is bad when FORTY PERCENT!!!!!! of all of the crime and incidents that require police involvement IN THE ENTIRE AREA OF GREENBELT occur at this apartment complex.

I guess it depends on what section of SHL you live in. I live in a townhome and my only complaint is the thinning walls and the fact that I have to hear my neighbors music every night before I go to bed. I don't have roaches, mice or other foreign bugs!I do notice that police come through the complex every night! oh and the MAINTENANCE SUCKS!!!!
