Expensive

Nothing too fancy or special, but noise was a problem due to poor insulation on the ceiling and floor. You could always hear stomping and running around upstairs, or the neighbors downstairs would complain to you about the same thing, even though you weren't really making that much noise to begin with. Because I kept different hours due to my schedule, my downstairs neighbors had some issues about me being awake at 2 in the morning and walking around my room.
The bathroom facilities seemed kind of old; very weak water pressure for showers, and the bathtub used one of those old-fashioned rubber stoppers. The toilets were a bit a small size, and didn't have enough water pressure to flush if you had a particularly large "output" (get the plunger ready!).
Also, the mail was incredibly slow. Usually didn't arrive until 4 PM, even though the mailman would retrieve outgoing stuff from mailbox drop outside the complex around noon!
Staff was usually efficient and professional, although I did have the fortune of being right next door to the rental office -- merely seconds walking distance!
Like many other places, I had to move once the rates went up.
