University Square

It's like coming home. From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/28/2004 Years at this apartment: 1986 - 2004   I have lived at University Square Apartments off and on since 1986. The longest stretch was from 1986 to 1996. In that time I have seen lots of changes but none so terrible that I did not want to return to the property. It feels like coming home. I have always felt safe with Greenbelt Police living on the property, the new locked doors and the fairly quick responses of maintenance. The spaciousness of the rooms in the apartments are a pleasure and the walk in closets are a joy. It would be nice to have laundry facilities inside each apartment but I guess we can't have everything. I am especially apprecitative that the rental office is just as concerned with controling the pest population as the tenants are. A number of us complained that we were BEGINNING to see a few creatures and so our building was put on a regular rotation of bi-weekly treatments. My only complaint is that in every apartment I have lived in at the property (4 different units) there is an issue with dust. The apartments are not sealed and so alot of the dust from 495, 295 & Greenbelt Road finds its way into the ventilation system. So all in all University Square gets a thumbs up from me!
