PLEASE BEWARE!!!

Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2006
Living at University Square was a nightmare. We initially lived in a basement apartment until it flooded because of heavy rain, on a Friday, because of faulty equipment outside of the building. The management staff gave us a hassle when we tried to relocate to another unit. They avoided all of our phone calls and forced us to stay there in a mold infested apartment. We eventually contacted the corporate office and got the managers personal cell phone number. She came out on Saturday evening and left a key to a new unit with the maint. man. However, we couldn't find him until late that night. It was a disaster...and in the meantime our furniture was getting ruined from the water damage.
They tried to charge us for switching apartments. And when we decided not to renew our lease...they charged us over $500 in move out fees...for simple wear and tear issues. I hate to be so negative, but our experience at this property was horrible. (There were several times I attempted to make a complaint through the Better Business Bureau. However, this may get more exposure.)
The most positive comment I can make, is that we had great neighbors!
