Stay away!

My wife and I stayed one night at University Square, and moved away.
That night was an entire nightmare. We droved all the way from the west coast here, and we were very tired, and supposedly we should have had nice sleep after the long trip. However, both of us had only a few hours of sleep because of noise!
I heard every single word the person living upstairs was saying, I knew what he was doing exactly every second - taking shower, turning on/off water in the kitchen. Next day I chat with my neighbor on the same floor - he complained about the noise as well. He said he even heard the person living DOWNSTAIRS snoring. The thing is the original construction of the buildings was poor, and the wooden floors are as thin as a piece of paper. Unless you are a noise-proof person, I would strongly recommend against Univ. Square.
When I talked to the manager about noise, she was first trying to push us around, giving excuses. After a long battle with her and her crew girls, they finally let us out of the lease, but of course took my deposit. I was happy I didn't stay - Thank god - I didn't waste more money and time there, although the unprofessional handling of my original application from the several girls working there did cost me a lot of time.
I met a guy who complained that the maitenance request he put there when he moved in was never fulfilled, not even when he moved away one year later... Don't understand why Univ. Sq. can still stay in business, and got nice rating here. Maybe their lower rent.
Stay away if you want trouble free experience with an apartment.
