Hi,
I was looking to move to University Square Apartments.
when we went to the leasing office we meet Tamika who looked very nice and descent.
But after reading the reviewers, I started to be scared to move there .
Me and my husband walked through the community to meet any resident and ask him/her about the apartments.
Finally, we meet a nice lady who was satisfied about the place with some problems that didn't look major to me . From what I understand, there are some buildings that are infested with roaches while others are not.It would be very helpful if whoever lives there mention to us the building number where it has roaches so that we can understand exactly where is the problem.
I should move out of SHL apartments by the end of this month (JULY 2009).
Any helpful suggestions about the buildings that are roaches infested will be greatly appreciated. We suffered about this problem here in SpringHill Lake and I don't want to face it anymore.

I was in bldg 201, in the basement. The neighbors have pets so that's why I had problems with cockroaches. My apartment was pretty ok (I found 2/3 cockroaches per month) coz I asked the guys to "clean" it every 3 months. But the cockroaches were running in the entrance of the building... so I guess some cockroaches families were living somewhere close...
My problem was not so much with the cockroaches... but take care of asking EVERY time for a receipt and the name of the lady you have in front of you when you pay for something... a year after, they send me a lawyer because of a late fee that I do not have to pay. Take care of them!!! Not honest at all...

143 is really really bad as is 145. not sure about others. Be sure to ask about crime. If they tell you none they are not being truthful. also ask if it is patoled by Police.
