The first time i saw belmont parks I was impressed because it seemed clean, spacious, and pretty safe. I thought that it was a steal for the price. The apartment has okay parking, it has never been a problem for me, and the neighborhood is pretty quiet minus the countless police sirens I hear everyday. No major disturbances.
BUT, I have had so many mice in the apartment it is absolutely unacceptable. There was mice poop everywhere in the apartment. In the closet, on the kitchen counter, in the kitchen drawers and pantries, behind the fridge, in the bathroom, ON the bathroom sink, even in my nightstand drawer and bed frame! How could I live in an apartment which I was terrified living in' I did not even want to come home at time because I was so terrified. The mouse was chewing up the walls and there were big holes in the master bedroom. Everything we had in the drawers and pantries had to be taken out and thrown away. What is worse is that we asked management to take care of the situation and they would come 1 or two weeks later or not at all. If they did come, they did a half-assed job and the mice were still coming in. Me and my roommate had to actually catch two of the mice. The manager claimed that this was not a priority and was trying to blame us for having mice in the apartment. She was very rude and until my roommate actually called her and yelled her, did she finally get someone to come right away and have the problem fixed.
The apartment has a washer and dryer unit but not in the apartment. It is in the basement where it is 1.50 a load which is ridiculous and the laundry facility is small and shady. The place is dirty, there are mice and roaches, the hallway always has a weird smell and people are outside smoking marijuana and saying obscene things to me and my roommate at times. I recommend that you don't move here. it seems great for the price, but its definitely not worth your pain and suffering!!!!

i just went there while apartment searching and you are completely right. The manager was rude, the place smelled and had a bad vibe. DONT DO IT!!!! a few years ago this place was great but since the management has changed it is a dump.
