I love the fact that i only have to pay my electric while Brookstone pays for my water and my heat which saves me a lot of money! The rooms are very spacious and my favorite part is the kitchen. I love it! I just moved out here and I feel very comfortable living at Brookstone on my own. I dont understand the things the other people are saying because i dont have any of them problems. I feel that if they keep their apt clean the mice wouldnt want to be there.

As you said, you just moved in. I didn't have any problems at all when I first moved it which was during the summer, but as soon as it got cold the mice moved in. I keep my apartment very clean....that is not the issue. I problem is I live on the ground floor where there is easy access. I even had them come out to seal all the holes, but they still find their way in. Believe me.....I am out come August. I can't wait!!!!!!

I hope you are still enjoying your cozy apartment. Everyone should enjoy and feel safe where they chose to reside. I am not a tenant there, however I do have family members that reside in the complex, and the also enjoyed their living space until the rodents moved in, and no matter how much you complain to management, they are unwilling to fix the problem. In fact, the problem is so widespread, they cant get a handle on the problem. However we planned to fix it. Keep your Ears and Eyes open. GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU, AND IF ANY OF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS, DONT BE AFRAID TO SPEAK-OUT.

To Mr. or Mrs. fix it dated 7/24/08, how do Y O U plan to fix a rodent problem???????????????? If you have the answer you should pass that information on.

Well if you're on the ground floor, I can see how you might have mice problems, but when I lived on the ground level, I had cats. You might want to get one. I didn't encounter any mice when I lived on the ground floor at Brookstone. But nothing is as bad as when I resided at Fairway Ridge off of Forest Park. I caught like 6 freakin mice and I lived on the ground level and no I'm not dirty. I am very particular about my place. Brookstone was heaven compared to that place.
