I have been living in Brookstone for a couple of months now and i don't even no where to start. Maybe i will start with everytime you walk out your door there are tons of kids sitting on the steps and they don't even live in the building. I also thought that the point of having a intercom system was to keep people out of the building, i don't know how that is possible because the kids are always sticking pennies or paper in the lock which jams it so sometimes your key will work and sometimes it won't. Manitance came and did some work and tracked some type of glue all over my carpet. Someone actually took the time to rip patches out the carpet in the steps. When i moved in it was so quiet so maybe they send letters out when they are taking you on tour for all the ghetto people to stay in while they are trying to get you to rent these terrible apartments. I will not be renewing my lease here, i can't wait to it is up. Brookstone is not the place for me and my family.

I mean no harm, but the post from the anonymous person posted on 6/17/08 most not be living in the same apartments as I and the original poster. I have lived in Brookstone for almost two years and she is absolutely right. When I did my walk through it was quiet and well maintained. About 2-3 months later that all changed. I also experience the kids hanging out in the halls, laying out in the floor when you are trying to get to your home or mailbox. I hate this place and I am glad I am moving the end of this month.

Well it is very nice to know that you mean no harm---harm is always done when you mean none. but yes, I do live in the same apartment, (Brookstone) as you. I just resigned for another year, it is nice not to pay for gas, which is one of the reason I like living here. I do not have any problems in the building I live in. I hope you find the green on the other side not so hateful and I am glad you are moving also. Hope you did you homework?
