This was my first place. I've lived in many homes over the years, as my parents moved a lot, and I fell in love with this place instantly. Some neighbors are nice and really try to reach out to the community. It wasn't until about a year later that I started to notice problems.
First we had a mice problem, then ants. Rent goes up in jumps and spikes. Maintenance isn't too bad but there is a lot to fix.Neighbors are noisy, with loud music and arguments. During the summers these kids like to act like your front step is their home.
I love kids and can't wait to have some of my own some day. But these kids each think that they're the head of their own gang. I had to yell at them to get them to move out of my way so I could enter my own home while my hands were full of groceries. And some of them actually broke into my house and stole my X-Box and over $600 worth of games and accessories. I knew they were kids cause they left their muddy little foot prints all over and didn't talk anything else of value from the house.
If you get a town-home don't keep your valuables in plan sight on the ground floor, kids will look in your windows.
