I've lived on Martin Court for almost 5 years, and I haven't had any problems. The buildings are old, the walls are thin, and the utility bills are high, but that's the trade-off for rent that is cheaper than almost everywhere else in this area. The surrounding neighborhood is admittedly not the greatest, but there are a lot of professionals and students here, so it's pretty quiet. Most of my neighbors have been here longer than me and look out for each other. I have never seen any FBI agents or prostitutes, and I've seen the cops here a handful of times for noise complaints and the like. I've never felt unsafe in the parking lot at night, never had anyone break into my apartment or car, and never heard of anyone else with these problems. When problems with other tenants have arisen, they've been dealt with promptly. The same is true for repairs, and the maintenance staff has gone the extra mile to make sure they won't need to be made again. I wouldn't call these luxury apartments by any stretch, but I've paid a lot more for a lot less.
