I have been at Windsor Forest for 2 years. I have been dealing with rats since I have been here. I have called management at least 10 times. Each time management sent a handyman to handle the problem. But it seems the problem persisted. I bought mice traps and have caught at least 25 mice.
My wife and I finally decided it is time to get out of here. We sent the least office a letter of intent that stated we were moving out. The lease agreement required that we give a 60 day notice. The rental office received my letter 3 days late.I received a letter from the management office that stated since they received the notice late that my lease automatically renewed. Although the lease language states that the lease would go month to month if it wasn't renewed. I called the leasing office and berated them for them trying to pull a fast one. I am stuck here an extra month but I am glad my time here is almost over. Also in the 2 years that I have been living in this community, we have experienced 2 fires. One fire came very close to home, the fire affected about 6 units and came 2 units from affecting my building. Luckily no one was hurt. in all the places that I have lived I have never experienced a fire but 2 fires in 2 years in this rat hole.
