My husband and I have lived in these apartments for 5 months now. Each new month we expierence another reason why these apartments are so poorly constructed. We wake up every morning to the smell of cigerette smoke from the tenants that live below us. The walls are so thin we can hear every conversation that the tenants have below, beside and above us. This is rather annoying when you are trying to fall asleep, watch tv or anything that you do. The walls are so thin, as well as the paint. The first time I tried cleaning the walls the paint came off... I was only cleaning with soap and water! The inside of our building before entering each apartment is so dirty, I know when we first moved in they had a cleaning crew, but now other tenants in the building decided to leave their trash at the bottom of the stairs and cigerette buds on the floor. Another major problem we have had with these apartments is the climate control. We did not turn our heat on hardly at all this winter, sounds like a good thing until your apartment is so HOT you cannot sleep. The same happens when you are trying to keep the place cool. Looks can be deceiving, atleast they were for me. The outside is nice, clean, and welcoming. The inside is a disaster. At $900.00 a month, and normally $1200.00 a month you would think the quality would be a little higher on the scale.
