The landlord and the management company here both suck! I had to jump through hoops and get the office of the attorney general in the state of Maryland involved to get my deposit back. The management company tried to assert that I broke my lease when I was indeed on a month-to-month lease. Even after I faxed over the documentation showing that I was month-to-month, the landlord continued to insist that she was right and that I was wrong. I will post the name of the management company when I obtain the information as I have since forgotten when I moved out in July of 2005.

Even though I think the townhouses are nice and spacious, I would not recommend staying here and giving money to this property management company. Please look at alternative places to rent, albeit there are not enough places to rent in Hagtown, but try your best to stay away from this situation.

I hear ya on that one!!! I am having a ton of problems with the lady there too however, my family has some ties and are getting involved so I have a feeling it will turn out ok.

It did result in turning out OK. I wonder if it is the same lady who is the landlord from back in 2005. I am not sure. I have since forgot her name as she was quite insignificant to me. :) I am sure I have it in some of my paperwork in files somewhere in a box. If you are looking for a place to rent in the area, I may have a place available next summer in the Mercersburg area. I will keep you posted if interested. More importantly, if you need any help or assistance in the fight for justice, please let me know and I will be willing to provide you with any pertinent and helpful information regarding my experience back in 2005.
