I have lived at three different units at Rosewood Village and have loved every single one of them. I moved to Hagerstown in November 03 from the dc area, I started out at the grand. I loved the fact that it had a lobby secured entrance with an elevator. There aren't many buildings with an elevator in Hagerstown. Not to mention, the spacious 1,700 sqft plus apartment I had, complete with ceramic tile and wood flooring and two balconies.

I decided six months later to expand my family ,so I moved to a townhouse. It was just as great with more space and a garage and the upper bedroom had a balcony that overlooked our court. It made me feel very safe to sit out of my bedroom balcony to see the entire court at all times with my new baby in our rocking chair. It was so peaceful at nights putting him to sleep on the balcony. When I moved to a house outside of the community, I literally was depressed because I missed the townhouse and community so much. My kids also loved the townhouse. It was nice the way they could play in the culdesac and not to have to worry about a busy street with cars. I eventually did move back to the community only a year and half later because I knew that there was nothing in comparison.

I now live at Jade Landing (across from RW Village) also managed by Washco Mgmt and love it just as much. The covenience of the new shopping center within the community is great. I go to the 24/7 fitness center and they have quite a few eating options there also. Overall, the community and staff is great other than maintenance that could step it up a notch, but I believe that they have a new crew and I hope for the best. I want to also say that the elementary school is Title 1 school which requires their teachers to be specially qualified to even teach there. My kids love it!
