I just got my second water bill from Studabaker. I have the bill in front of me right now. It has $25 trash pick up fee. I called Studabaker last month and they said that is the agreed price Bozutto contracted with them. So I went to the leasing office and they told me that the first bill is always high and it shouldn't be there next month.

Well, next month is today and the $25 fee is on the bill again. I guess it is happening to other residents since I have read the other posts. The leasing office never told me about these hidden fees when I was signing my lease. Now they are saying it is out of their hands.

If you are thinking of renting from here, please read these posts carefully before deciding. The buildings are brand new and clean, but there are many hidden fees and security problems that it isn't really worth it. There is also a $200 non-refundable ammenity fee.

If I could go back in time, I would find a place in Columbia and save myself a couple hundred dollars. The staff is all new. I see a new person in there every day. Staff turnover rate is extremely high here. They do not communicate well and your concerns will never be heard. A couple of them have really bad attitudes. I can not wait until my lease ends next year.

"Hidden Trash Fee" Did you not read your lease before signing it? Because the fact that valet trash is 25.00 per month is on the lease. Also, on the bottom of the brochure it says residents are responsible for gas, electric, water and valet trash.
