I don't know about some other people on here but I am not getting charged for trash twice. I'm getting charged $25 for valet trash and that's it. In the lease agreement it states that valet trash is $25/month (not $20 like some people are claiming). So aside from this $25 charge on my bill from Studebaker the only other thing I am being charged for is Water usage and water usage admin fee (which is $4.41/month). Some people were saying they are paying $20 for valet trash plus an additional $25 for trash removal but I don't see this charge at all! I haven't the past 2 bills I've received. I agree that this $25 fee is a little ridiculous however I find it very convienent. Especially considering that this is a large community and it can be quite a walk to the dumpster depending where you're apartment is. (Just my opinion). I do think they should leave this as an option to the residents though and not force it upon them. However, with that said I don't know why some people are acting like they were unaware that they would be getting this charge...you had to sign the lease didn't you' Well, it's in there...plain as day as a lease addendum titled "Valet Trash". These people must not be reading what they are signing. This is not a "hidden fee". Just because someone wouldn't expect to pay for this service (because I admit, I've never heard of it before) doesn't make it "hidden". The leasing office informed me of "valet trash" fee when I first visited the complex for a tour back in April so this is nothing new.

As far as the gate issue, they finally put down the front gate to parking garage today, however I don't really see a point in this unless they are going to install a gate at the back entrance as well. What's the point when people can just enter the garage through the back with no problem!

LOL, I'm sorry I just find it so funny that you believe I'm a staff member. Too bad I'm not. I just can't stand ignorant people that are too stupid to understand a simple utility bill and are posting incorrect information on here. I believe people who are truly interested in this complex have the right to know the truth and hear it from someone who knows what they are talking about unlike majority of these posts on here.

If you "don't know about some other people on here," as you open your review with then why do you assume "These people must not be reading what they are signing." ? If you are only being charged for Valet Trash then good for you, just state that. That doesn't mean that other people may not be getting charged extra on their bill does it? And that would be a "hidden fee" wouldn't it? Just because you "don't see this charge at all! I haven't the past 2 bills I've received.", it doesn't mean other people haven't. I have to agree with the other response above, that is, you probably work for Buzzuto(maybe that's why your bill doesn't have extra charges on it?). If not then you are arrogant and pretentious for thinking that you are the only person that can correctly read a utility bill. And thank you for that in-depth review based on trash bills and gates, I am so happy that you are not "ignorant people that are too stupid" !

I like the fact that it is convenient but I should have option of choosing if I want that service or not. Plus I dont like they have rules, like take out the trash can between 8-10 or etc etc. Like I have to come back to the apartment to do that. And plus more rules like it has to be in a bag and we wont take large boxes... we are paying for it so you better take whatever we put outside the door (except unopen boxes or mails)!!!
